Factory of Equipment and Parts, Metal-processing Industry and Lode Factory, parts of Mining Smelter Basin Bor, for sale

The Republic Privatization Agency announced tenders for the privatization of three companies operating within the Mining-Smelting Basin "Bor" (RTB). Offered for sale are the Factory of Equipment and Parts (FOD), Majdanpek’s Metal Processing Industry (IPM), including "Zlatara", "Megaplast" and "Fabrika elektroproizvoda", from Mosna, near Donji Milanovac, and the Lode Factory (FLŽ).

These three companies, with over 2000 workers, are among the "healthy" entities of Bor’s company.

The most serious candidate for the purchase of FOD is the Austrian "West Alpina", from Linz. IMP has caught the interest of the French "Sccm Rene Aumas", from Paris, one of the leading companies in the world that is in the jewelry, made of precious stones and metals, production and sales line of work. It owns several sapphire and ruby mines on Madagascar. The company "East Point", of which owner is Serbian businessman Zoran Drakulić, showed maximum interest in the privatization of FLŽ from Cyprus.
