Turks acquire 24.38 percent stake in Montenegroberza

The Istanbul Stock Exchange has bought nearly a fourth of outstanding shares of Montenegroberza for about EUR 450,000. It has acquired a 24.38 percent stake from six minority shareholders of Montenegroberza, it was announced at a press conference.

The value of these shares averaged EUR 587.

The market cap of the Istanbul Stock Exchange is at USD 280 billion, whereas daily turnovers on that market average USD 1.7 million.

The Istanbul Stock Exchange is also a shareholder of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, but the stake is smaller than in Montenegroberza.

Montenegroberza's owner is Atlas Grupa that is owned by Montenegrin businessman Dusko Knezevic.
