Austrian company Austrotherm has announced new investments in Serbia, the Valjevo web portal Vamedia has reported. As Austrotherm CEO Dragomir Ilic said during the visit of Austrian Ambassador Johannes Eigner to the company headquarters and the factory in Valjevo, they are already preparing new investments.

- The plan is to build a factory for producing facade sealants and adhesives within the next two years. For this project, we are going to seek cooperation with the City of Valjevo. Our owner is expected to pay a working visit next year and start talks with the city. I hope the outcome of negotiations will be positive - Vamedia has cited Ilic as saying.

Ilic also explained that he expected the implementation of that project to start in 2014 and end in 2015, announcing that the company would hire another 50 people.

Austrotherm operates a total of four factories in Serbia (in Valjevo, Srbobran, and two in Nis) and a branch office in Belgrade. The company's headquarters is in Valjevo.
