Holcim builds municipal waste recycling system - Paracing to get recycling plant by end-2014

Holcim Srbija intends to build a modern municipal waste recycling system in Paracin, the first of that kind in Serbia, it was announced on the website of the Paracin municipality.
- The budget for this system has already been approved, the project is nearing its end, and the aim is to have it completed by the end of the next year - Claudiu Soare, the general manager of Holcim Srbija, announced in Popovac.

It will be a very complex installation where the following three types of municipal waste will be treated: the one that can be used in the recycling industry, the one that can be used as an alternative fuel, and the residue that is sent to landfills.

Holcim is in the process of acquiring building and other permits for the construction of aforementioned plant.
