Donation from Saudi Arabia - Construction of Islamic Center in Belgrade, University in Novi Pazar and maternity ward in Ulcinj

Yesterday, in Sarajevo, Ahmed Mohamed Ali, president of Islamic Development Bank from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, signed agreements with the representatives of Islamic communities of Serbia and Montenegro and Sandžak on donations for three projects in Belgrade, Novi Pazar and Ulcinj. The first one is the project for construction of new Islamic Center in Belgrade, the second one refers to the construction of new University in Novi Pazar, whereas the third project relates to the construction of maternity ward in Ulcinj. Of 910,000 USD, which is the value of the project for construction of Belgrade-based Islamic Center, the donation of Islamic Bank amounts to 290,000 USD. The value of the project for University in Novi Pazar was estimated to 740,000 USD. Saudi donation for Ulcinj will amount to 540,000 USD as a gift, whereas the rest is interest-free loan.
