PALMA: We are going to build spa resort in Jagodina

Jagodina Mayor Dragan Markovic Palma said Thursday that the construction of a spa resort in Jagodina would commence in May 2014, adding that it would serve as the basis for health tourism development in that town and entire Pomoravlje.

- A spring of thermal mineral water with a temperature of 37 degrees Centigrade has been discovered in the vicinity of the local aqua park - Markovic said at a ceremony marking the start of construction of Vivo Shopping Center in Jagodina.

Markovic previously said that balneologists and experts on thermal mineral waters had found that water in the spa resort in Jagodina could be used in the treatment of minimum 10 diseases, stressing that it would also be very useful to men.
