Vršac-based "Hemofarm" was declared best exporter in 2006

Yesterday (December 6, 2006), at the official ceremony, the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) declared Vršac-based Hemofarm the best exporter of year 2006.

In the category of the most successful exporters, among the small and mid-sized enterprises, the award has been shared by two IT companies from Belgrade – PS Tech and HDL Design House for the results achieved in the export of software.

The award for the best new export product has been given to company "Medical System" from Belgrade for production of transportable neonatal incubator. Finally, company 9. septembar from Gornji Milanovac won the award for the best new export product, which is an automatic line for production of processing equipment and paper goods.

SIEPA organizes this ceremony for the third time. According to the words of Jasna Matić, the manager of SIEPA, the year 2006 is marked by the stimulation measures that raised the level of export.

- In the first ten months of this year, the export grew by 33%, that is, by 42% if Montenegro is included in that balance - said Jasna Matić and added that SIEPA had, for the first time that year, approved non-refundable financial means for internationalization of the operations in amount of 100m RSD, which had been used by 125 companies.
