Russian businessmen eye investment in bus factory and department stores in Novi Sad

The investment forum Novi Sad-Sankt Petersburg, which the businessmen from the two cities expect to push economic cooperation forward, was held Thursday (5 December 2013) in the City Hall in Novi Sad.

Two business delegations were led by Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic and Vladimir Sobohotov, the director of the Sankt Petersburg Theater on Vasilevsky Island.

Vucevic is confident that the event will result in numerous investments and creation of a large number of new jobs for the people of Novi Sad.

- Shortly before the forum, I had a chance to meet Mr. Sobohotov and I learned in a talk with him that businessmen from Russia were very interested in investing in a bus factory, new department stores and other projects - Vucevic told the press.

Vladimir Sobohotov voiced his belief that forum talks would bring good business results for both cities.
