Canadian company "Nortel" opens technology center in Belgrade

Company "Nortel", as one of the leading world companies in field of telecommunication activities, is going to open its office in Belgrade.

President of "Nortel", Mike Zafirovski, said that that company was going to open the technology center in Belgrade, which would employ about 30 engineers and work on the transfer of the existing communication technologies and the development of the new ones.

Canadian Ambassador, Robert McDougal, greeted opening of the technology center in Belgrade and pointed out that Canadian Government recognized importance of ICT for the total development of one country, which is best proved by good experiences in the development of electronic administration in Canada where about 32,000 ICT companies exist and employ about 500,000 workers.
