"Banker" magazine declared Raiffeisen bank the Bank of the year in Serbia

Respectable magazine "Banker" has declared Raiffeisen bank the Bank of the year 2006 in Serbia. That is the third time in a row that that bank won that flattering title.

Raiffeisen bank in Serbia is one of the banks with the quickest growth in the network of Raiffeisen International with the balance assets worth 1.9 billion EUR at the end of the third quarter of year 2006 and it is, by far, the biggest bank in the country.

Raiffeisen group won five awards - Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG (RZB) and Raiffeisen International were declared the best banks in Central and Eastern Europe, whereas RZB is the best bank in Austria, while local Raiffeisen banks in Bulgaria and Croatia won the title of the best banks in these countries.
