Public veterinary stations in Serbia on auctions

Public veterinary corps will be privatized on the auction and 30% of the assets would be given to the employees without compensation. This is stated in the decision of the Government of Serbia about the method of privatization of that corps, which was published in the new issue of the Official Bulletin.

It has been determined that the continuity of activities must be maintained for at least 7 years from the day the contract on sale of capital is signed.

The decision regulated the method of privatization of the veterinary stations founded by the Law on Medical Care of Animals, of which basic text was published in 1991.

Also, the method for privatization of the centers for reproduction of animals has also been determined - Cattle Breeding-Veterinary Center for Reproduction and Artificial Insemination "Krnjača" with the headquarters in Belgrade and Center "Velika Plana" with the headquarters in that city, as well as Scientific Institute for Reproduction and Artificial Insemination of domestic animals "Temerin".
