Foundation stone is laid for a new cartridge production facility within the ammunition plant Prvi Partizan in Uzice.

At the celebration of the 85th anniversary of that company, this foundation stone was laid by General Ljubisa Dikovic, chief of the General Staff of the Army of Serbia, and Zoran Djordjevic, state secretary of the Defense Ministry.

A factory for producing bullets, in which Prvi Partizan plans to invest EUR 25 million by 2015, has also been ceremoniously put into operation as part of the company's production modernization project.

- So far we have invested over EUR 8 million, mainly from our own resources and from the proceeds of a EUR 2.5 million loan of the Development Fund - Andric said and announced that Prvi Partizan would start building an ammunition production plant in Tresnjica in 2014.

On Friday, Prvi Partizan Director also signed agreements on long-term cooperation with US partners, a five-year EUR 150 million contract as well as a EUR 15 million agreement on two-year cooperation with Belgian partners.
