Investments in Serbia up 21.4 percent in 2012

Investments in the Republic of Serbia in 2012 were 21.4 percent bigger than in 2011, whereas investments in new underlying funds grew 23.4 percent from the previous year, the Republic Statistical Office announced Wednesday.

According to the results of the annual survey "Investment in Underlying Funds", 44.3% of all investments in 2012 were implemented in Belgrade, 23.6 percent in Vojvodina, 23.3% in Sumadija and Western Serbia, and 8.8% in South and East Serbia.
