Road from Kragujevac to Corridor X to open to traffic in 2015

Minister of Regional Development Igor Mirovic said Tuesday that a four-lane road from Kragujevac to Corridor X should be completed in 2015.

After a meeting with local self-government officials, Mirovic told the press that the work on the last five-kilometer stretch of that road should commence in late 2014.

The minister stressed that there was no more time to waste and that deadlines needed to be shortened. Mirovic also talked with the representatives of Kragujevac, Batocina municipality and the Fiat automobili Srbija company about the bypass around Kragujevac where works are more than four months behind the schedule.
