General Electric interested in investing in Serbia

Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic spoke on November 18 in New York with the representatives of General Electric about cooperation in several domains, including the implementation of the wind farm project valued at over EUR 300 million, it was announced on the website of the Serbian government.
According to him, aside from cooperation in the production of electricity, this company is also interested in working with Gazprom and Srbijagas on the production of compressor stations and gas turbines for South stream gas pipeline.
He reiterated that General Electric operated in more than 100 countries, employed over 310,000 people and had approximately 50,000 patents.
