Sojaprotein reports big losses in first nine months of 2013

Becej-based Sojaprotein generated a RSD 8.26 billion business revenue in the first nine months of this year, down 23.2 percent from the same period last year. The company's business profit (EBITDA) in this period was negative and amounted to RSD 243 million (down by 114 percent), Sojaprotein announced in a release on Friday through the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

Its final net result in this period is an enormous loss of RSD 465 million against last year's profit of RSD 1.06 billion.

Let us remind that Sojaprotein shares have been losing in value over the past few weeks. With the current share price of RSD 631, the company's market cap is at RSD 9.4 billion (EUR 82.5 million).
