German businessmen consider business opportunities in Banat

Representatives of the Central Banat region and the German Business Club for Banat discussed in Timisoara economic cooperation, it was announced on Wednesday (November 13, 2013) by the city administration in Zrenjanin.

During the talks organized by the Consulate General of Serbia in Timisoara, the political-economic delegation from Central Banat and representatives of the German Business Club pointed to an increased need for river transport, especially on the Danube, and investment options such as the construction of goods-transport center as well as investments in agriculture and food industry, the announcement states.

Representatives of the German Business Club for Banat accepted an invitation to visit Central Banat to continue talks over cooperation in economy and investments on the both sides of the Serbian-Romanian border in Banat.
