Mercator-S revenue at nearly EUR 413 million

In the first three quarters of 2013, Mercator-S, part of the Mercator Group, achieved positive results and increased its revenue by 2.7 percent from the same period last year, this market chain announced in a release today.

In that period, the company reported a total revenue of EUR 412.96 million and a profit of EUR 3.69 million.

Successful and stable operations result from efficient management of resources, increased productivity, as well as constant effort to secure the best terms of shopping in line with buyers' habits and needs, the release reads.

In compliance with the development strategy, the company opened up 7 new business units and hired 138 workers in 2013.
