Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said last night in her guest appearance on a show of Jagodina's TV Palma Plus that the list of priorities of that ministry included 600MW Stavalj Steam Power Plant, which should use top-quality coal as fuel and emit no harmful gases, and pumped-storaged hydroelectric power station Bistrica, also with a capacity of 600 megawatts.
- This is something I expect, to have preliminary agreements signed by the year's end - said Mihajlovic.
- Novi Sad Thermal Power Station is also on that list - the minister noted, adding that "the construction of a nuclear plant is out of question".
These power plants will both directly and indirectly allow for the employment of thousands of people, Mihajlovic stressed.
