Contract signed on construction of first unit of future water factory in Zrenjanin

Mayor of Municipality of Zrenjanin, Goran Knežević, and the manager of "Vodovoda", Bratislav Tomić, have signed the contract with the representative of company "S&A Capital" from Chicago, Miloš Lončar, on construction of the first unit of the future water factory in Zrenjanin.

The company from Chicago, as a donator, obliged to build the factory and install capacities and, after the beginning of exploitation, to daily provide 8,640 cubic meters of drinking water, which will meet the conditions regulated by the Rule book on hygiene regularity.

Company "S&A Capital" will have that unit built prior to May 30, 2007, and it will start delivery of drinking water prior to August 31, 2007. The equipment for treatment of the drinking water will be installed as the first unit of the future water factory in Zrenjanin.

Municipality of Zrenjanin obliged to provide the right to 99-year use of the land to the donator, fee free. The price of 1 cubic meter of drinking water from this unit for the households, according to current estimates, should amount to 0.22 EUR, that is, 17.5 RSD at present exchange rate.
