RSD 54.8 million earmarked for Emergency Response Office - Opening in 2014

The Serbian government has earmarked RSD 54.8 million in the 2014 draft budget for the opening and operations of the Emergency Response Office.

Of that amount, RSD 40.3 million will be set aside for salaries to be paid to the Office staff.

The opening of the Emergency Response Office was advocated by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in its 2012 election campaign.

Formation of the Office is stipulated by the Draft Investment Law that should soon be forwarded to MP's for adoption.
