Finally, Mercator to have trade center built in Kragujevac, 18,000 square meters

On the 6th of May the contract will be signed on construction of Mercator's trade center in Kragujevac, on 1.5 ha, in the vicinity of well-known sports hall Jezero. It will be two-storey facility  18,000 square meters big. Parking lot and furniture showroom will be located on the first floor, whereas hypermarket and numerous boutiques will find its place on the floor above. It is expected that the works start in September 2005.

The City thinks about construction of another storey where National Library Vuk Karadžić would be placed. The interesting thing is that one such facility with the library already exists in Slovenia.

Mercator has already rented one more location in Aerodrom settlement. The location is 1ha big and it will be building site for the facility of 4,500 square meters.

Both locations are rented on 99 years. Kragujevac will earn 189 million CSD only from taxes on building land organization.
