Air Serbia registered with BRA

Serbia's new flag carrier Air Serbia has been registered with the Business Register Agency (BRA) instead of Jat Airways. The share capital paid amounts to RSD 16.86 billion.

Air Serbia was registered with the BRA on October 29th, people at the Serbian flag carrier confirmed to Tanjug news agency. This company recently announced that the UAE's flag carrier Etihad would make a USD 40 million available in January 2014, which would be converted to a 49-percent stake in Air Serbia.

The Business Registered Agency has also updated the statute of the national airline. Air Serbia CEO Dane Kondic is registered as a legal representative of the air transportation company, while its founder is the Republic of Serbia.

Also, the list of members of the Executive Board is also updated and now includes the following people: Dane Kondic, Davor Miseljic, Dimitri Kristofer Kurtelis, Dobrivoje Glavonic, Gmitar Dugalic, Miroslav Stanojevic, Dragan Djokovic, Slobodan Zivkovic, Stevica Spajic and Mihailo Jovanovic.

It has also been announced that the Serbian government will provide USD 40 million for the new company's capital.
