Russian company "En+" interested in rehabilitation of power plant "Kosovo A"

Russian company "En+", property of businessman Oleg Deripaska, will take part in the preliminary tender for modernization of power plant"Kosovo A".

"En+ Group" is a part of company "Bazni element", together with "Rusal" and other daughter-companies. The preliminary tender should be announced at the end of November 2006 and it implies construction of new power plant "Kosovo C", with the capacity of up to 2,100 MW and exploitation of coal mine Sibovac.

In 2006, "Rusal" bought Aluminum Combine in Montenegro, for which the energy is required and the closest source is Kosovo.

Company "Bazni element" reminded that it already had positive experience with the participation in privatization in the countries of former Yugoslavia. "En+" won on the tender for procurement of steam power plant and coal mine in Pljevlja in Montenegro.
