Nectar eyes Radenska

Companies Nectar, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC) and Nestle are interested in taking over Slovenian mineral water and juice manufacturer Radenska, the web portal SEEbiz has reported.

Lasko brewery, the owner of Radenska, expects to sell this company in the first half of 2014.

Non-binding offers are to be submitted in November, while binding offers should be requested in January.

At the end of 2012, Radenska's debt for loans it had taken out was at about EUR 15 million, which would be repaid in full with the sale of the company's 2.6 percent stake in Mercator.

The purchase price for Radenska will greatly depend on the response to the restitution requests submitted by the company's former owners.
