Air Serbia opened Thursday its first renovated office in downtown Belgrade, in the space of the former famous Jat Airways office near the Church of St. Marko.
Serbian Economy Minister Sasa Radulovic said on that occasion that Jat Airways, which should soon become Air Serbia, was the first public company to be put back on its feet.
- We said that we wanted a healthy state and a healthy economy as well as profitable companies that provide a good service and achieve a better success in the market competition - Radulovic stressed.
He reiterated that the partnership with Air Serbia's co-owner Etihad from the United Arab Emirates was an example of how companies in Serbia could be put back on their feet.
Air Serbia will officially start operations on October 26th, when it is supposed to operate its first promo flight from Belgrade to Abu Dhabi.
