Brown-eyed people more trustworthy than blue-eyed ones

The latest Czech study shows that people with brown eyes are generally considered more trustworthy than those with blue eyes.

Researchers from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Prague took photos of 40 brown- and blue-eyed men and women aged 20. They did not take into account green eyes as they consider them to be somewhere between blue and brown ones, the media in France reported.

Then they showed these photos to a group of 238 volonteers of both genders. The results show that a great majority of them said that brown eyes looked more trustworthy, especially in a man.

They assume that aside from brown eyes, men have such face anatomy, bigger mouth, wider chin, thicker eyebrows, stronger nose that they seem more trustworthy than women.
