Bulgarian company "Prista oil" interested in purchase of Oil Refinery Belgrade

The tender commission for sale of 70% of assets of Oil Refinery Belgrade should hold the meeting at the end of this or at the beginning of the next week. On that occasion they will examine the delivered bids. The Comission will determine the number of the delivered bids and announce the names of the potential buyers after the meeting.

The deadline for delivery of bids on the tender for Belgrade-based refinery, which deals with the production of lubricants and anti-corrosive means based on the oil derivatives, expired on November 17, 2006.

The refinery realized income worth about 7.5m EUR in 2006 and it is the only in the region that owns the refining unit for used oils.

Bulgarian company "Prista oil" announced that it intended to buy Refinery Beograd and Kruševac-based lubricant factory"FAM" as well.
