Jugoimport-SDPR signs contract to export USD 200 million military equipment

Deputy Acting Director of Jugoimport SDPR Branislav Prostran said Thursday (10 October 2013) that that state-owned company had signed a contract to export military equipment worth USD 200 million.

Prostran and Serbian Defense Minister Nebojsa Rodic toured the Borbeni Slozeni Sistemi (Complex Combat Systems) factory in Velika Plana on Thursday to check the progress of construction of new production facilities.

SDPR's deputy acting director said that the equipment produced in plants in Velika Plana accounted for USD 102 million of the total value of that export contract.

Once new production facilities are opened within the Borbeni Slozeni Sistemi complex in Velika Plana, the number of workers will grow from 70 to 120.
