World Bank and Government of Serbia commenced consultations about new four-year arrangement

The Regional Manager of the World Bank and Coordinator for Europe, Central Asia and Southeast Europe, Orsalija Kalancopulos, is in two-day visit to Serbia and she will perform the first consultations about the new four-year arrangement of the World Bank in Serbia.

The program is known under the name of "Country Support Strategy" and the World Bank prepares it every four years in each of the countries in which it takes active part in development.

Kalancopulos will meet the Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia, Vojislav Koštunica, as well as representatives of the political parties.

The present Program of Support to Serbia ends at the end of June 2007.
