Bankruptcy manager of Alpine acknowledges EUR 1.5 billion claims

Alpine Bankruptcy Manager Stefan Ril has admitted that the compensation claimed from that Austrian construction group amounts to EUR 1.503 billion.

Creditors submitted claims for a compensation totaling about EUR 4.151 billion, EUR 2.648 billion of which have been disputed, at least for the time being, the release issued by the bankruptcy manager reads.

Ril has acknowledged mainly the claims from local manpower and suppliers of Alpine Bau GmbH.

A major share of the requested compensation includes about 80 claims worth a total of about EUR 2.5 billion.
