K314 coming to Novi Sad - Italian manufacturer of electronic boards and circuits rents production facility, recruiting process ahead

K314 has decided to make its first investment outside Italy in Novi Sad, where it plans to produce and assemble electronic boards and circuits.

This company has signed an agreement with the public company Poslovni Prostor to rent a 1,400 square meter facility at Rimski Sancevi that is owned by the city. According to company plans, the factory in this location should employ between 20 and 30 workers in 2014, while the plan for some later phases is to increase the number of employees to 70.

K314 is a private Italian company founded in 2011, but based on a long-time experience. Its production facilities are situated within Vimercate Technology Park that was established back in 1960 as a division of IBM - for design and production. By acquiring equipment, licenses and know-how, the K314 company exploited part of the huge capacity of this location in early 2012 and came closer to meeting the needs of today's production industry. The company turned a significant profit in 2012 with its turnover amounting to EUR 5 million.

According to the statistics of the VIP Fund that helped this company come and find an appropriate location, K314 has joined a group of 16 foreign companies that operate in the electronics industry in Vojvodina and employ in excess of 7,300 workers.
