Serbia interested in improving cooperation with Citygroup

Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic pointed out on October 4th in a talk with Citygroup representatives that Serbia was interested in improving cooperation with that large U.S. financial group.
- The aim of the Serbian government is to improve economy and consolidate financial situation. Cooperation with the world's best and largest financial companies and their experts is a precondition for the improvement of Serbia's economy - Dacic assessed.
Citygroup is an U.S. financial group that has the largest network of financial services on the planet as it operates in 140 countries worldwide. This company employs about 260,000 people in 16,000 offices.
Citygroup is also the largest trader in U.S. government bonds. Part of this group is City Bank, with the headquarters in New York, which registered a branch office in Belgrade in 2006 and started operations in our country in 2007.
The meeting with Citygroup representatives was also attended by Finance Minister Lazar Krstic.
