Inflation lower than in 2012

Institute of Market Research (IZIT) assessed Friday that inflation in Serbia would be lower than in 2012 and range between 5.5 and 6 percent by the year's end.

IZIT's associate Sasa Djogovic told a press conference that inflation had grown 0.4 percent in August 2013 due to an increase in the price of electricity.

Among the causes of lower inflation this year is a better agricultural crop in 2013 than in 2012.
