Chinese to make minibuses in Kragujevac - China's Huang Hai plans to assemble Rajtur vehicles in cooperation with Zastava Trucks

Chinese factory Huang hai from Dalian is interested in assembling minibuses in Kragujevac as of October 2014, said Zastava Trucks CEO Djordje Nestorovic.

Nestorovic, who negotiated the establishment of cooperation with a delegation of aforementioned factory in China last week, told the weekly magazine Kragujevacke that the Chinese were interested in assembling Rajtur minibuses, but he stressed that it was necessary to first assess the economic feasibility of that deal.

Rajtur minibuses come with five to 15 seats and cost about USD 20,000 in China, but their price in Serbia would be higher due to costs of the transportation of components.

The plan is to present several models of Rajtur minibuses at the next Truck Show in Belgrade because the Chinese factory intends to conquer the markets of Serbia and southeast Europe with these vehicles.
