Fiat still tops list of Serbia's exporters

Fiat Automobili Srbija (FAS) is by far the largest domestic exporter, topping the list of Serbia's 15 leading exporters with EUR 1.13 billion worth of exports in the period January-September 2013.

As the Finance Ministry announced on its website, citing the data of the Customs Administration, the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) ranks second with EUR 205.6 million worth of exports in the given period and is followed by Tigar Tyres from Pirot whose exports in that period are at EUR 184.3 million.

The next on the list is HIP Petrohemija from Pancevo that exported EUR 168.5 million worth of goods. Vrsac-based Hemofarm ranks fifth with EUR 113.5 million exports, while Gorenje from Valjevo and Stara Pazova is in sixth place with its exports totaling EUR 103.1 million.

Tarkett from Backa Palanka, the seventh largest domestic exporter with EUR 96.9 million worth of exports, is followed by RTB Invest from Bor with EUR 91.9 million, Yura Corporation from Raca with EUR 86 million, and Ball Packaging from Belgrade with EUR 84.5 million.

Ranking eleventh on the list, Zelezara Smederevo exported EUR 81.8 million worth of products during the first nine months of this year. The next on the list are Valy from Belosevac with exports worth EUR 76.6 million, Impol Seval factory in Sevojno with EUR 75.2 million, Sirmium Steel from Sremska Mitrovica with EUR 71.3 million, and Tetra Pak Production from Belgrade with EUR 70 million worth of exports.
