Hermes SoftLab Serbia signed contract with Vodafone on big IT job

Once again, Kragujevac has the company that attracts experts to come to work in it. This time, the experts are software engineers. They are coming from all over Serbia to "Hermes Softlab Srbija", Kragujevac-based company that exported software worth 300,000 within 12 months.

These software are used by the government institutions of the surrounding countries, especially big world mobile telephony providers. Also, the programs have been developed for the needs of the Tax Administration of Slovenia and Slovenian insurance companies, and Central Registry of the citizens of Montenegro. "Hermes Softlab" also realized programs for use of the up-to-date biometrical ID cards and passports.

Great recognition came few days ago, when the company from Kragujevac signed contract with "Vodafone", for which manager Vladan Atanasijević says that it is the job that represents the most serious project since the company was founded (earlier name of the company was "Virtual team").

When "Virtual team" entered "Hermes Softlab" Group, it was a big success, because the latter is a powerful company that exports 80% of its software and realizes income of about 10m EUR on annual basis only from the business with HP.

This Kragujevac-based company currently employs 27 development engineers and the reception of another 10 or so is in progress.

Cooperation between "Virtual Team" and "Microsoft" was of crucial importance to the company from Kragujevac to join "Hermes" Group, because "Virtual Team" won in 2003 and 2004 on the regional and global competitions announced by "Microsoft" and they got highest possible international recognitions for their programs.
