Loznica got Office for local economic development

The Ambassador of USA to Serbia, Michael Polt, and the Mayor of Municipality of Loznica, Vidoje Petrović, has opened the Office for Local Economic Development in Loznica, of which adaptation and equipping received investments worth 60,000 USD.

Of that amount, 40,000 USD were provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), whereas local self-government provuided 20,000 USD.

- People in Serbia want better future for themselves and their families, they want to get a job, to connect with Europe and with Euro-Atlantic community. I am here to get familiar with the excellent work shown to me by the Mayor and his team and to participate in the opening of this really excellent center - said Ambassador Polt.

- The office for local economic development and forming of the Zone of advanced operations in Jovana Cvijića Street in the city downtown, which is being reorganized, are very important for they will close the gap between the public and private sector even more - said Petrović.
