Construction of University center in Šimanovci to commence prior to end of year 2006

The Head of the Srem region, Aleksandar Grubješić, estimated that the Srem region was on the first place in the country as far as direct foreign investments were concerned and he added that municipalities of Inđija and Pećinci had surpassed all other municipalities.

On that occasion, he said that the construction of the University center would start in Šimanovci by the end of the year 2006 and the investor would be Martin Mladen Sedlak, a businessman of Serbian origin.

- On the basis of the expressed interest, we rightfully expect few hundreds of millions of USD of foreign investments in the Srem region in the next few years - said Grubješić.
