"Engel group" requests compensation from the Belgrade airport

Since the agreement with the first-ranked bidder for construction of cargo center at airport "Nikola Tesla" failed, the second-ranked Israeli "Engel group" expected and requests the invitation to negotiations from the Government of Serbia.
With the decision that the entire procedure be cancelled and that the new tender be announced, the airport management ruled out the possibility that "Engel" implements the cargo center project.
- Because of the new situation, "Engel group" will press charges against the airport and ask for compensation in amount of 2m EUR - said David Ericson and added that the Minister of International Economic Relations, Milan Parivodić, must either give job to company "Engel" or "to admit publicly that there was not any tender at all and that airport led us astray".
