Italy's Vibac will start building a factory in Jagodina in early November, in which more than EUR 60 million will be invested, Jagodina Mayor Dragan Markovic announced today.
The Vibac factory in Jagodina, which will be producing adhesive tapes for export, will employ more than 200 people from Jagodina, Markovic told a press conference in Tanjug's Press Center. He also announced the visit of a business and political delegation of Jagodina to Bari.
Vibac representatives signed an agreement on the factory construction with the Serbian government and the city of Jagodina in May 2013 in Belgrade. As it was announced on that occasion, this facility is one of the largest industrial plants to be built in Serbia this year, covering a surface area of 40,000 square meters.
