DACIC: Serbia meets all requirements to start negotiations with EU

Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic pointed out in a talk with Franko Fratini, former minister of foreign affairs of Italy, on Saturday (21 September 2013) that Serbia had met all the requirements set by the European Union and that the country expected the negotiations with the EU to begin in December 2013, it was announced on the website of the Serbian government.

Dacic noted that Serbia counted on Italy's help in the process of harmonizing positions on the negotiation framework in the EU integration process because the relations between the two countries were very good and their respective governments had an intensive political dialogue.

It was also assessed at the meeting that police cooperation between Serbia and Italy in the fight against organized crime was very good.
