Serbian Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said Friday in Vrnjacka Banja that the procedure for permitting investors to invest in the construction of small hydroelectric power stations would be significantly shortened.

- Prospective investors have so far had to collect 90 permits, and we now try to reduce that number to five to make it easier for them to implement their projects involving the construction of small hydroelectric power stations in Serbia - Mihajlovic told the press before the opening of the International Energy Forum dedicated to water and energy.

The 4th International Energy Forum organized by the Central European Development Forum (CEDEF) has gathered about 300 participants from nine countries - Italy, Russia, Poland, Slovenia, Macedonia, Belgium, Hungary, the Republic of Srpska, and Serbia.
