Cacanska Banka expects to be privatized by end-2014

Dragan Jovanovic, chairman of the Executive Board of Cacanska Banka, voiced his expectation that an international tender for the privatization of that bank would be launched soon, adding that there were many interested prospective buyers.

He told a press conference that he expected the bank to be privatized by the end of the next year, voicing his belief that privatization would be successful because the bank had an attractive strategic position and operated very well.

Cacanska Banka announced Thursday that it had achieved positive business results in H1 2013, adding that its balance sheet in late-June was at RSD 34.14 billion, up 3.9 percent from the end of 2012.
