"Where are the Stock Markets Heading?" - Serbian market more and more attractive to foreign investors

- The investment climate in Serbia has been significantly improved over the last few years, the proof of which is several successful privatizations, improvement of trade on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, as well as macroeconomic indexes of the economic growth in Serbia - this is the estimate of the representatives of the investment funds who participate in the Fifth international conference of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, which commenced yesterday (November 14, 2006) in hotel "Intercontinental".

The sale of Serbian pharmaceutical company "Hemofarm", mobile operator "Mobi 63" and recently announced tender for sale of minority package in NIS represent "healthy signs of market economy" to the institutional investors from USA - said David Grayson, the manager of global broker company "Grayson & Company" from New York.

According to his words, the investors from America are satisfied with the indexes on Serbian capital market and they already show their trust with the investments in Serbia.
