2nd Balkans Oil & Gas Summit on September 24-25 in Athens

The past few months have brought news reports addressing several developments in the Balkans, such as the launch of the first offshore Montenegrin hydrocarbons licensing round, newly acquired seismic data offshore Greece (with a licensing round coming in 2014), the launch of a modern seismic survey in offshore Croatia by Spectrum, the inauguration of a new drilling campaign in Greece, the opt of Trans Adriatic Pipeline to bring Azeri gas to Europe, the announcement of shale gas plans in Romania, new exploration ventures in offshore Bulgaria...

This will form the focus of the 2nd Annual Balkans Oil & Gas 2013 Summit taking place on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th September at the hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens, Greece. The summit will welcome senior governmental officials from the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change in Greece, Ministry of Economy in Croatia, Ministry of Economy in Montenegro and many others as keynote speakers.

The 2nd Balkans Oil & Gas 2013 Summit will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Energy & Climate Change in Greece, Ministry of Economy in Montenegro, Ministry of Economy in Croatia, Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry in Bosnia & Herzegovina and is supported by the Albanian Energy Association and the Romanian Petroleum Association.

The summit is sponsored by the leading seismic data company; Spectrum, one of the largest diversified upstream oilfield service companies in the world; Weatherford, the multinational engineering company AVEVA and NRC, a global leader in the provision of environmental, industrial and emergency solutions.
