Srem to start using solar energy soon - Work zone for solar parks under preparation in Lezimir

Construction of a complex for using renewables to generate electricity may commence in Sremska Mitrovica in the near future.

At its last session, the City Assembly of Sremska Mitrovica adopted a Decision to order the preparation of Comprehensive Zoning Plan for Green Power Investment, a solar energy work zone in the cadastral area Lezimir.

Prospective foreign investors have already expressed interest in building a solar power plant in the territory of Fruska Gora, in the vicinity of Lezimir. Therefore, the City Assembly made the decision to have a work zone built in the cadastral area Lezimir.
