Company "MOL" doubled profit

Hungarian oil and gas company "MOL" doubled the profit in the third quarter of year 2006 against the same period last year.

In period July-September, "MOL" realized profit of 589m USD, which is the increase by 112% in comparison with the same period in 2005 and much above the expectations of the analysts.

The experts estimated that the profit of "MOL" in the third quarter could amount to 75.62 billion HUF, that is, 63% more than the last year when it amounted to 56.44 billion HUF.

The latest researches conducted by company "Harrison Lovegrove & Co." confirm that "MOL" is on the first place in Europe as far as the profit is concerned and that company earns 28.3 USD per barrel.
