Cico Collection opens jeans factory in Zrenjanin - Jobs for 1,500 people by 2017

Cico Collection ceremoniously opened a factory for producing jeans for men and women in Zrenjanin on Monday.

This factory, in which EUR 3 million have been invested to date, will hire 168 people this year, and the plan is to increase the number of workers to about 1,500 by 2017, Director Predrag Mihajlovic announced Monday.

The ribbon on Cico Collection's new production facility was cut by company's co-owners Sinisa Novakovic, who was born in Zrenjanin and now lives in Stuttgart, and Wolfgang Reiserer from Rosenheim (Bayern) in Germany.

Over the past 10 months Cico Collection has been investing in the acquisition, reconstruction and equipping of the clothing factory in Zrenjanin.
