Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and President of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce Paul Judge have agreed to organize an investor conference in London by the year's end for British investors and top Serbian companies.

Judge said at yesterday's meeting with Dacic that 70 British companies had expressed interest in investing in Serbia's economy, especially in mining, energy sector, telecommunications, agriculture, tourism, and the professional education of entrepreneurs.

The investor conference in London will also be aimed at promoting the export of Serbian products.

It was assessed at the meeting that a significant progress is being made in Serbian-British relations and that Great Britain supports Serbia on its path to the European Union as well as all reform activities of the country.

The meeting was attended by Branko Ruzic, minister without portfolio in charge of European integrations, the Serbian government's Media Relations Office said in a release.
